For Stays, Packages & Dining Experiences
1. Booking & Payment
All packages, seasonal stays, experience‑led stays and special events require full pre‑payment at the time of booking.
Flexible room‑only or bed & breakfast stays may be charged at the time of booking or pre‑authorised prior to arrival.
A valid credit or debit card is required to secure every reservation or package.
Prices are based on two adults sharing, unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellation Policy
Standard Stays
(Room Only, Bed & Breakfast, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast – excludes packages)
We understand plans can change:
1. You can cancel your stay free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival.
2. If you cancel within 72 hours of arrival, or do not arrive, the full stay price will be charged.
3. Changes to your booking within 72 hours are treated as cancellations.
Seasonal Events & Special Occasions
(Valentine’s, New Year’s Eve, limited‑edition menus)
These dates involve bespoke menus and limited availability.
1. Bookings are non‑refundable from the moment they are confirmed.
3. Package Cancellation Policy
Experience‑Led Packages
(Wine Pairing Escapes, Chef Packages, Cook‑Your‑Day Experiences)
These stays include elements that are pre‑purchased or prepared specially for you.
1. Cancellations are non‑refundable within 7 days of arrival.
Discounted & Promotional Rates
(Spring Escape, Winter Getaway, Summer Stay, 20% Off Offers)
These offers provide exceptional value with limited flexibility.
1. All promotional rates are non‑refundable.
2. They are not valid on Fridays or Saturdays unless stated otherwise.
4. Amendments & Date Changes
Date changes are subject to availability and may result in a difference in rate.
1. Amendments cannot be made within 72 hours of arrival.
2. Packages are sold as a complete experience and cannot be split or partially refunded.
5. Check‑In & Check‑Out
Check‑in: from 3pm
Check‑out: by 11am
Early check‑in or late check‑out may be available for an additional charge.
6. Dining & Dietary Requirements on Packages
Dietary requirements must be provided at least 72 hours before arrival.
Some tasting menu elements cannot be adapted at short notice.
7. Children & Additional Guests
Packages are priced for two adults.
Additional guests may be accommodated in selected rooms for a supplement.
Tasting menus may not be suitable for young children.
A children’s tasting menu is available at £75.00, offered as a smaller version of the adult menu; 48 hours’ notice is required.
8. Dog Policy
Dogs are warmly welcomed in our designated dog‑friendly rooms only:

Charges & Inclusions
Our dog charge is £25.00 per dog, per night
Dogs are provided with a bed, food & water bowl, and a blanket.
This charge acknowledges additional cleaning; it does not cover dry cleaning or repairs, which will be charged at cost.
Restaurant Access
We offer two dog‑friendly tables located near the bar/entrance area.
These tables must be requested at the time of booking.
Only two dogs may be in the restaurant at any one time.
If dining with us, please advise whether your dog will remain in the room or accompany you.
In‑Room Expectations
Dogs must not be allowed on beds or upholstery.
If dogs are left unaccompanied in the room during dinner, please inform our team so evening turndown can be managed safely.
Owner Responsibilities
Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste appropriately.
Dogs must be kept quiet and under control, respecting other guests.
We cannot accept breeds covered by the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Owners must hold appropriate insurance should their dog cause injury or damage.
If a dog reacts negatively to staff, guests or another dog, we may request that the most recently arrived dog is removed.
9. Damage, Smoking & Behaviour
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
Any damage, deep cleaning or loss caused during your stay will be charged to the card on file.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a stay if behaviour impacts the comfort or safety of other guests.
10. Third‑Party Experiences
Packages including external partners (e.g., Courtyard Dairy, Bolton Abbey) are subject to the partner’s availability and terms.
If a third‑party element becomes unavailable, a suitable alternative or refund of that element will be offered.
11. Gift Inclusions & Add‑Ons
Items such as MW Gin, signed books, drinks pairings or hampers are included as stated in the package description.
These items are non‑refundable once the stay has commenced.
12. Force Majeure
The property is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events outside our control (weather, transport disruption, illness, etc.).
In such cases, we will work with you to offer alternative dates where possible.
